Jonathan Adler Registers “Rapid Growth” Since Going Live on NetSuite OneWorld

Oracle NetSuite has announced on October 4, 2017, that home furnishings designer Jonathan Adler has realized “rapid growth since going live on NetSuite OneWorld in July 2012.”

The company claims that NetSuite’s flexibility has allowed Jonathan Adler to expand the number of its company-run retail stores from 18 to 26, including two in the U.K. and grow its webstore, JonathanAdler.com. Wholesale retail partners have also grown from 500 to more than 1,000 across 30 countries, including such top names as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Harrod’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. As SKU volume has soared from 12,000 to 33,000, NetSuite OneWorld has provided Jonathan Adler with seamless global financial consolidation across its U.S. and U.K. subsidiaries, and the ability to transact multiple currencies.

“NetSuite has made us smarter, faster and more capable,” said Damen Seminero, Jonathan Adler CTO. “NetSuite has taken us from guesswork to having real-time numbers and information in one location, and there’s no greater benefit than that. It has allowed us to grow and add new locations without ever pausing.”

The Oracle press release further stated that, as the company grew, it found that its previous software systems were inefficient and provided limited visibility into the business—thanks to manual data management and reporting in a fragmented environment. The company found itself version-locked in outdated systems that could not be upgraded without significant spending and business disruption. The company knew it needed an agile, scalable platform to continue its upward trajectory.

NetSuite OneWorld provides Jonathan Adler with a unified foundation for accounting, order management, inventory management and order processing – key elements in customer-centric omnichannel retail operations and B2B distribution. NetSuite feeds nightly catalog updates to Jonathan Adler’s ecommerce site, while the Bronto Marketing Platform triggers and delivers timely, personalized communications to customers and fans. With NetSuite OneWorld, Jonathan Adler can also set up new stores within hours, unlike the previous scenario that required weeks of provisioning on-premise software and systems.

“NetSuite is our central nervous system and the single data source for our financials, inventory and customers,” Seminero said. “I can’t say enough about the flexibility NetSuite gives us to do virtually anything. I’ve never encountered a situation where I had to say, ‘No, we can’t do that.’”
