Instapage has announced it is partnering with Google to create AMP Landing Pages.

According to the company’s press release, it is the only landing page solution that Google has partnered with to create Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP). With the AMP framework coming soon to the Instapage landing page builder, marketers will be able to create personalized AMP landing pages for all of their digital campaigns.

Instapage explained that AMP restricts HTML/CSS and JavaScript, so it allows for faster rendering of mobile web pages. Unlike regular mobile pages, AMP pages are automatically cached by Google AMP Cache for faster load times on Google search.

It argued the need for marketeers to consider AMP solutions based on research indicating that by 2019, mobile ad spend will account for 62.5% of all advertising spend. However, the average mobile site takes 19 seconds to load over a 3G connection, and 75% of mobile sites take over 10 seconds to load. Furthermore, conversions fall by 20% for every additional second a webpage takes to load. To compare, sites that loaded in 5 seconds had 2x more mobile ad revenue than sites that loaded in 19 seconds.
