Bluecore has announced it was named “Best Marketing Platform” by Newegg in the 2018 Eggie Awards. 

According to the company, “Newegg recognized Bluecore for its unprecedented ability to create and target granular customer segments based on behaviors predicted at the product level, rather than in response to their transactions or behaviors alone.” It further explained that, now in their 14th year, the Eggie Awards recognize outstanding contributions from the company’s valued partners, vendors and customers.

“The 2017 calendar year was one of strong growth, most notably our global expansion into more than 50 countries. Scaling our business internationally at such a rapid pace would not have been possible without valuable contributions from our many partners,” said Danny Lee, CEO of Newegg. “The Eggie Awards celebrate those achievements and are a great way to kick off what we expect to be a similarly productive new year.”

Newegg discovered that while there are no lack of solutions that give retailers aggregated insights into their collective website visitors’ behaviors, trending products and other bulk engagement patterns, Bluecore let them drill down on each individual customer’s historical journey— from what promotions they responded to and products they viewed to which categories they searched and which products they added to their cart, purchased and/or abandoned.
